General

How do I join Mission Logs?
The community is open so join it like you would any other community and bam! you can post. We have no applications, you don't have to check in on anything. Just read the rules, join and go.

Is this a meme communuty?
No. We do occasionally have memes as posted by the mod account, but this is primarily a community for people interested in the Star Trek universe(s) to come together and roleplay without the strict setting limits or structure of a game. You can play your Trek PSL's here, GPSL's, you can make open posts, you can recruit a crew, you can run around the galaxy doing whatever it is you've ever imagined in Star Trek - even if it's not strictly speaking canonical.

Is adult content allowed?
The musebox is for players eighteen years and older and we do allow adult/nsfw content provided it is marked correctly and if in the top post, behind a cut.

Characters

What characters can I play here?
Anyone you want to play so long as they are au'd into the setting if it isn't their normal canon. If you're putting up a character as an AU or playing an original character it would be a good idea to have at least a small blurb in your journal with the relevant information, but it is not mandatory.

Are multiple versions of the same character allowed?
Yes, multiples are allowed. They can even meet if that's what you feel both like writing. There is no one timeline/setting/verse in Mission Logs so multiples and such like shouldn't cause any great problems and don't need to overlap without players wishing them to.

Can I play my character as something other than a Starfleet officer?
Absolutely! You don't even have to play inside the Federation as long as you're generally playing in a Trek universe.

Can I make my character something other than human?
This is fine also. Follow your alien-shaped dreams if that's what you want to do.

Setting

I want to make my own Starship/Planet/Species/etc, can I?
Yes. The galaxy is a big place, there's room for all of us. Please request a tag for your original stuff, and if you like share with us on our player-made settings & species post.
